Leopardi (19 x 24 cm)

Recalling Horace’s quote: "Ut pictura poësis", poetry is like a painting, in the Renaissance the theory of "sister arts" was affirmed, believing that a good poet could give visibility to things through the power of abstraction of words. The tendency to overcome the division between the arts and the aspiration to a multiple writing, mirror of a complex perception and cognitive elaboration, is particularly evident in Leopardi.
